And thanks to my dedicated staff, I, and AAMVA survived.

You would know that the week my family and I were scheduled to move into our new home, two major federal bills impacting highway safety were introduced.  And the PR guy was nowhere to be found!

Sen. Lott and Rep. Stearns dropped a bill to address title washing of flooded motor vehicles.  For those interested in this bill I would encourage to read the Anti-car Theft Act of 1992.

And Sen. Akaka and Sen. Sununu dropped a bill that would impact the Real ID Act.

All I can say is stay tuned for the 110th Congress.
